In case this has a technical problem, the incognito mode recording should be hidden. This makes sure if somebody is sneaky enough or one gets caught, there is no trace. I would rather have this audio auto uploaded to SkyDrive and delete all traces on the phone. The audio recording doesn’t seem to stop on demand and only way to exit is hit back key on the Windows Phone. Problems: In the current version there is some small problem with Incognito mode. As an example Lumia 92X and 1020 come with microphone which are capable of Noise cancellation and hence better audio output compared to any other device in Lumia series. How is the audio recording quality ? It totally depends on your phone. Both these modes can be triggered from a live tile for instant recording. The app also comes with standard recording functionality which runs in the foreground and under windows phone lock screen. In case you don’t want to fake it with a lock screen, a blank screen can be used as well which imitates the locked mode with display completely turned off. This app is a basic audio recorder which can start recording instantly but it does the faking well by using a lock screen which can be then synced with your SkyDrive. Instant Incognito Recorder tries to address this problem by running the app in foreground but faking it with a lock screen. The only problem with most of the recording app is that they run in background and if any body has to figure out that you are secretly trying to record, its easy. When you wish to record audio on Windows Phone, first, there is no default app and second, any other app that you might try will probably gain someone’s attention.
